To support the Northeast Grid Reliability Project in Northeast New Jersey, MAC engineered, designed and built 7 pumping plants, ranging in dielectric fluid capacity from 15,000 to 30,000 gallons each.

Northeast Grid Reliability Project

With varying requirements for operation, layout and overall length limits, the plants were designed to support new underground transmission cables installed across northeast New Jersey. MAC coordinated with various architectural and engineering firms to design, build, and commission the plants one year ahead of the required installation schedule. In multiple installations, brick façades were required on the outside walls of the plants in order to satisfy local neighborhood aesthetic requirements.

Project

A major grid reliability project for which MAC custom designed and built seven pressurizing and circulating plants.

Custom Enclosures

MAC designed and built custom enclosures to blend into each neighborhood installation.

Installation Supervision

MAC engineers and technicians furnished on-site installation advice and assistance.
