MAC Products announced that Paul F. White has been appointed Director of Engineering, Transit Products.

MAC Executive Vice President, Fred Greenberg said, “Paul brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience. He is expert in overhead catenary, third rail, and component systems, and holds patents for a number for inventions used in light rail and trolley bus overhead lines.”

White is the former Superintendent of Transmission and Distribution of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, Boston. He holds a BSEE from Northeastern University, a Bachelor of Science Degree from Tufts University, and chairs the IEEE Overhead Contact Systems Subcommittee for Rail Transit that is developing national standards for the rail transit industry.
